The indoor environment in this zone, not officially assigned as a traditional heating zone, is cold and humid with poor thermal comfort in winter. Investigates and surveys the status of heat consumers in residential buildings in Chengdu, intending to understand the indoor thermal comfort condition and heating demands. Based on a residential building in Chengdu, compares and analyses the initial investment and energy consumption for two typical heating modes, and tests its practical operation condition. The results show that comparing with radiant floor heating, initial investment can be reduced by 31.6%, and energy consumption of a heating period can be reduced by 85.6% by using the split air-conditioner mode.
